The opening speech of the Deputy Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejon, will kick off the festivities of Sorrows next Saturday, September 3.
From that day until September 18 the exhibition center will house various leisure activities, musical performances and good food for all ages and tastes.
The festivities in the neighborhood celebrated in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows and are organized by theAssociation Residents of Sorrows in collaboration with the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena.
Residents and visitors can enjoy the festive evenings that will be enlivened by musical performances theGroup Piku, the musical duo Agua Marina, Rama Cinnamon or duo Minerva, among others.
Children will enjoy dedisfraces, varied entertainment and funfair.
The traditional night of the crumbs will be Thursday, September 8, and give way to the young night that will be the Play Summer Party, a macro disco ending with foam release.
Another of the highlights of the program will take place on Sunday, September 11, with a motorcycle rally which will follow a route that will take bikers to the neighboring town of Miranda.
The concentration will end with a biker lunch at 14:00 in the festive enclosure.
Finally, on Sunday, September 18, laprocesión image of Our Lady of Sorrows will be the finishing touch that will put an end to the festivities in the Cartagena neighborhood.
