The next Saturday, September 10th, the streets of Cartagena will become a great artistic studio where fans of painting and drawing demonstrate their artistic talents thanks to I Painting Competition Outdoor City of Cartagena.
Under the title, Sequences of Modernism, the rich modernist heritage of the city will be the protagonist of the works in a cultural initiative that adds to the City of Cartagenaviene celebrating throughout 2016, the year dedicated to Modernism in the city.
The first contest Air Painting Cartagena City Consistory is organized by the city in collaboration with the Regional Rural Safety Foundation and the company Lalumier Events and Communication.
The artists are free to perform their works anywhere in the city, while they are in the area of ​​the image that will capture on canvas.
From 18:00 hours participants will take their finished to San Sebastian Square where it will be exposed and subsequent months will be organized these different exposicionescon the Byzantine Wall in Cartagena Museum in the Casa de Cultura de Fuente Álamo work and in the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia.
REGISTRATIONS
Registration is free and those interested in participating can register in advance by sending an email to the address concurso@lalumier.es or in person at the offices of Regional Caja Rural de Cartagena, Murcia, San Javier and Fuente Alamo.
the day of the celebration of the contest can also be held in the San Sebastian de Cartagena Plaza, from 8.00 am.
