Crocoite, a dish prepared by the establishment La Casa del Pueblo, was the winner of the I Gastronomic Route Mineral, that from 4 to August 14 was held in Llano del Beal, Strait of San Ginés and El Beal.
A total of seven local produced their best recipe with names that reflected their mining tradition.
On the night of vierntes, August 26, coinciding with the opening speech holiday start El Llano del Beal, opening the urn took place with the vote, in a ceremony attended by the Councillor for Public Safety, Francisco Aznar, the Councillor for Social Services, Carmen Martin, and the president of the neighborhood of El Beal, Carmen Soto.
The decision voted neighboring property was La Casa del Pueblo with its recetaCrocoita.
The initiative, promoted by the Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Neighborhood Council of El Beal and participating establishments had intended to put the focus of attraction in Cartagena deputation of El Beal, as it has coincided with the Cante Festival mines and as a prelude to the festivities of El Llano.
Users were able to taste the different tapas that were accompanied by drink for a price of two euros and vote for their favorite establishment, while participating in a drawing consisting of a double entry for all centers of Cartagena Port of Cultures.
The innocent hand decided that the winner was the neighbor of the Strait of San Gines, Cristobal Orozco.
The gastronomic initiative is not intended to stay only in the culinary, as Carmen Soto reported in the presentation of the event, but serve as a focus for tourists and visitors to tour areas of the Peña del Aguila, Cave Victoria or Las Matildes.
