The Local Government Committee, chaired by the mayor, Jose Lopez, has this morning approved an agreement by which the employer Tomas Olivo, gives free to the City the temporary use of about 12 thousand square meters, owned by their companies, for installation funfair of the deCarthagineses parties and Romans, in the vicinity of the camp, in the Partial Plan Rambla.
It consists of a grant of use in precarious that will be valid until September 30 and will allow the City Council give in turn use the Federation of Festivals of Carthaginians and Romans to be responsible and economically exploit degestionar installation attractions.
This is the first time that this formula with a situation where so far not involved the City Council to give more transparecncia and which will directly benefit both festive and regularized barkers used.
The issue has been driven by the delegation of Heritage, who heads the Councillor for Finance and Interior, Isabel Garcia.
EXHIBITION ON WATER
A proposal from the Mayor, the Board has also approved the signing of a collaboration agreement with the Caixa Foundation and the AGBAR Foundation, for installation in Cartagena during the autumn exposiciónH2OH !.
The exhibition will last approximately one month, and can be visited at the Plaza de José María Arts, next to the Palace Hall, from October 6 to November 1.
It will be divided into three areas: Water, the elixir of life;
Water in the city and sustainable water.
The overall objective of H2Oh!
It is to make citizens think about the great technological, economic and environmental challenges of water management in urban areas.
