The neighborhood of San Gines was honoring late on Wednesday, August 24, the pattern of Cartagena, San Ginés de la Jara, with a parade and a wreath that marked the beginning of a week of religious activities to honor the image the saint.

Coinciding with this year's 99th anniversary of the founding of the brotherhood, he held the eleventh edition of the proclamation of San Ginés which was attended by neighbors and religious and political authorities to commemorate the pattern.

After the parade to the sound of drums, the opening speech took place in the parish of the neighborhood of San Gines, organized by the Brotherhood of Romeros and the Brotherhood of San Ginés de la Jara, who was in charge of Tomás Martínez Pagán, crier this year and Brother of Honor of the Brotherhood of the Risen.
