El Llano del Beal welcomed last Friday, August 19, LAIV Hiking edition of Mining, gathering a great success of participants between neighbors and visitors who enjoyed the local environment with a visit to the Matilde mine and mine Blanca.
Around 350 people to this initiative noncompetitive and accessible not only to brokers, but to all citizens, were added with a distance of 7.5 kilómetrosque, with the Sierra Minera Foundation, also it had a cultural objective to raise awareness of the mining heritage of the area.
The hiking route was attended by the Councillor for Social Services, Carmen Martin, who helped organize the event.
In this new edition, which highlights the collaboration of the Department of Sports City of Cartagena and the Neighborhood Board Llano del Beal, it has achieved its goal of reaching more people locally increased participation of residents of the area.
