Lovers of painting and drawing, whether amateur or professional, and whatever their age, have an appointment on Day 10 September with the I Painting Competition Outdoor City of Cartagena where, under the title deSecuencias of Modernism this artistic movement of the late nineteenth and early of I follow twentieth with varied combines pictorial arts.

So this morning the area councilor for Culture and Heritage Archaeological, Ricardo Segado, who stressed this initiative as a way to promote art and culture and make richer if it fits heritage through spontaneous painting, all framed in the activities this year 2016 are dedicated to Modernism in our city.

By Regional Rural Fund, its president, Juan Andres Jimenez, stressed feel delighted to collaborate with an event of this kind in a year in which celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Also the company Lalumier Events and Communication, its director Natalia Torres has highlighted the aim of promoting the talent of the artists that will be distributed anywhere in the city as long as they are placed in the area of ​​the image that will represent.

EXPOSITION

Once you have terminated the duration of the contest, at 18.00, all participants must bring their finished work - only one per person - San Sebastian Square to be exposed with his easel in this area.

Similarly, in subsequent months, from September to December, exhibitions will be organized with works in elMuseo Byzantine Wall of Cartagena, in the Casa de Cultura de Fuente Alamo and the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia.

REGISTRATIONS

Registration is free and the day of holding the competition may take place in San Sebastian de Cartagena Plaza, from 8.00 am, or sending an email to concurso@lalumier.es and in person at Regional offices of Caja Rural de Cartagena, Murcia, San Javier and Fuente Alamo.

AWARDS

various awards divided into three categories will be awarded:

Adults (from 17 years): first prize of 1,200 euros and 800 second, both with a diploma

Youth (11 to 16 years): a prize of 300 euros accompanied diploma

Children (up to 10 years): three awards of artistic material valued at 100, 60 and 40 euros, respectively, accompanied diploma
