The big day of the festival of Saint Lucia to the faithful gathered around a tribute to Santiago Apostle, who came to the dock to board a Latino with rowers to land and be walked shoulder to the church.
The event brought together officials like the mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, Councilman Area Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon, the Councillor of Finance, Isabel Garcia and the Councillor for Tourism, Obdulia Gómez, besides the chairman of the Port Authority Antonio Sevilla.
After processions through the streets of the neighborhood, past eight o'clock in the afternoon there was a solemn Eucharist to the faithful gathered around the parish fishing district.
