The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has recently developed an investigation to locate and arrest perpetrators of an alleged crime of robbery with violence and intimidation committed last day 18 in Cartagena hamlet of La Palma, which has led to the arrest in less than 24 hours, two of them minors on suspicion of robbery with violence of intimidation.
After being brought to justice, one of those arrested have admitted in custody.
The investigation began late in the afternoon of Monday, day 18, when the Civil Guard became aware of the assault on public roads of La Palma-Cartagena, a young, minor, who after being assaulted and threatened by two individuals, he was the victim of stealing a mobile phone.
The young man was slightly injured.
The Civil Guard established a police operation aimed at locating and arresting the suspects, who, after committing the theft, fled the scene on a bicycle.
Thanks to the cooperation of citizens, the researchers found the physical characteristics of the suspects, as well as models of bicycles in which they moved, which allowed to locate in a central square in the cartagenera hamlet of Pozo Estrecho, one of them , a young man, a Moroccan national who was in the place next to a bicycle with identical characteristics to the one used to flee the scene.
In that act he was arrested on suspicion of robbery with violence and intimidation.
After obtaining the necessary evidence, the Civil Guard located the second involved in petty theft-old of Moroccan nationality and with a hefty criminal record when he stopped on suspicion of the crime under investigation.
The Civil Guard completed the investigation within 24 hours of the commission of the robbery, with the arrest of two young one minor, of Moroccan nationality, with police records and neighbors Pozo Estrecho Cartagena suspected of crime robbery with violence and intimidation.
The Civil Guard is investigating whether those arrested are related to the authorship of other crimes of the same nature, committed in the Campo de Cartagena.
Those arrested and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Office of Children of Murcia and the Court of Instruction of Cartagena (Murcia), whose owner has ordered in income in custody of one of those arrested.
