The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Pedro Rivera, and the dean of the Bar of Cartagena, José Muelas, agreed today to increase collaboration tools dedicated to mortgage medication in order to prevent, treat and prevent homelessness usual in a process of eviction.
"This meeting is an opportunity to give greater emphasis to the collaboration that the Community and the Bar of Cartagena under the service orientation and mortgage mediation and housing, and moving towards a more effective relationship that satisfies better the demands of society on issues of evictions, "said the counselor.
"The school is a key driver of support and collaboration in this task of citizen services and to seek legal assistance to ensure the housing rights of people and give greater security to those who may be in situations that may arise in foreclosures, or who are already engaged in foreclosure proceedings, "noted Pedro Rivera.
The college of Cartagena collaborates through service free assistance, whose professional information and advice to families, a personalized way, on the procedures to be performed in a situation of default on the mortgage and seek agreed solutions between the debtor and the bank in situations related to possible foreclosures.
Among the solutions obtained by people who rely on this service include the extension of the term of the mortgage loan, the reduction in the interest rate, lack of capital and interest, taketh, payment in kind and social rent to families most vulnerable.
This collaboration is supported by an agreement signed with the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia;
Officers Associations of Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca;
the College of Procurators of Murcia, Cartagena, Lorca and Yecla;
the Association of Economists of the Region of Murcia and the Association of Real Estate Agents Property Murcia for participation in the Service Orientation and mortgage mediation and housing.
Pedro Rivera indicated that this service under the Ministry of Development has attended so far this year 136 people, of which 87 have received free assistance for dealing with financial institutions.
Last year attention was paid to 163 people.
