During these days, tourists from all over Spain cartageneras enjoy the beaches thanks to measures taken to improve accessibility.
In the morning, July 13, dozens of tourists from Catalonia with reduced mobility have come to the delCavanna coast, where six Red Cross volunteers and two amphibious chairs that could have facilitated enjoy a refreshing swim.
This space is enabled enough for buses to park space and private parking spaces for disabled vehicles, adapted bathing areas, shaded areas, footbaths and accessible bathrooms.
The beaches with parking, walkways on the sand, changing rooms and toilets adapted areas buoyed bathroom and amphibious chairs are: Isla Plana, San Ginés, Levante (Cabo de Palos), Entremares (Lost Ship), Cavanna, Gola, Playa Honda, Mar de Cristal, Minor Islands and Los Urrutias.
The bathroom assisted by Red Cross volunteers during the months of July and August will be in areas of Mar de Cristal and beach Cavanna, Wednesday and Friday from 11.30 to 18.00.
