The Department of Celebration and Decentralisation, who heads the mayor Juan Pedro Torralba, 38 biosaludables modules installed in different places and spaces lasdiputaciones to facilitate sport among older lapoblación.
With this infrastructure is intended to respond to the demands of the older population, by providing a set of sports equipment that enable them to strengthen and exercise different parts of the body, with the corresponding benefits this means for Susalud, said Torralba.
This first phase involved a total investment of 13,300 euros, as each of the 38 modules installed costs 350 euros.
The project will continue with a second phase, starting in 2017.
The biosaludables modules have been installed outside inSan Isidro, Isla Plana, El Llano, Paradise Beach, Mar de Cristal, Lomas del Albujón, Estate of Santa Ana, La Puebla, Los Belones and San Ginés.
Moreover, Mar de Cristal, Paradise Beach and La Palma have been equipped with picnic tables for the enjoyment of citizens, explained Councilman Juan Pedro Torralba.
