The jury of the contest of ideas of the College of Architects of Murcia and Aladina Foundation for inner fitness area pediatric oncology maternal and child hospital in Arrixaca failed to reward the proposal 'Points' of students and professors at the University Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) Maria Perez, David Hernandez, Jose Maria Lopez and Edith Aroca.
Selected among eleven other projects, the students and teachers of the Polytechnic "inundate with a point cloud hallways and rooms on the ground", the student Maria Perez progresses.
The intervention, in abstract appearance, allow patients to discover hidden from uniting with textiles points similar color drawings.
"It will be a challenge for patients and an incentive to make as pleasant as possible stay" explain the teachers José María López and Edith Aroca.
Minors may choose whether to decorate your room connecting the dots and if they opt for one or the other drawing according to the color of the points chosen, a versatility that has highlighted the jury, plus the ease of application of the idea and its contemporaneity.
"On the ground there under 0-18 years old and their tastes and interests vary widely," says Maria Perez, who has focused his Final Project on a similar theme.
The architects of the UPCT, awarded 2,500 euros, and prepare the implementation of the project, with a maximum budget of 15,000 euros assume Aladina Foundation, which works with lower cancer patients and their families during their hospital stays.
