A novel way of understanding teaching and learning English is what drives Kids & Us, a center that presents itself as much more than an academy and is aimed at children from one year to 18.
Present in nine countries worldwide and more than 250 offices distributed in provinces across Spain, now comes Kids & Us to our city from the hand of Francisco Javier Crespo, who has left his Alcalá de native Henares to bring the cartageneros children this new method English school.
As he says, this geographical leap was also made possible by the support he received here by the Agency of Local Development and Employment (ALDE).
They were advising me around the issue of aid which could have and the truth that well explains Francisco satisfied.
The truth is that just entering the premises, which is located at number 42 of the Alameda de San Anton, and a different and attractive air awaken the senses of any child breathes.
A myriad of colors, puppets, stories and different classrooms with various environments make Kids & Us full of nuances where a polychromatic English is spoken, a fun English and understood in context that is not configured around a textbook or some tasks traditionally known as duties.
A NEW WAY TO LEARN
How a child learns the Castilian?
We do our children talk to them, repeat them a thousand times the words, we put the vocabulary in context and in the end they will assimilate, transform and learn intrinsically;
for this is the same methodology used to teach English, recounts Francisco Javier.
The aim is that this language is acquired untranslated and respecting the times of each child.
This project focuses classes for years, grouping children by age of birth and assigning each a character with whom they identify small, so in this way become familiar with it and find it easier to learn.
Francisco Javier comments that Kids & Us encompasses not only the own English classes but also offers other activities such as Fun Weeks at Easter, Christmas or summer urban camps that are performed in the center;
camps and cottages, its own editorial line, a video channel on Youtube, mobile applications ... In short, a universe 360 English, fun and learning that fits the child and guides on the tour.
