It has made the signing of an agreement between the City of Cartagena and the Association of Action Spanish Catholic Migration-ACCEM, by which this firm will have temporary use of a local municipal property in which to develop their activities this morning fulfilling their social purposes.
The agreement was signed by the council delegate Heritage, Isabel García, and the Director General of ACCEM, Julia Fernandez.
In addition, the event was attended by the municipal government, the delegate mayor of Social Services, Carmen Martin, and council member of the Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon, while representing ACCEM also attended ACCEM the territorial delegate, Mohammed Kebaili.
After the signing, Isabel Garcia has expressed satisfaction local executive for the assignment of a place that allows ACCEM provide the necessary means to continue making the excellent work they do every day.
The property is located in Cabrera, No 17, under B, in the Virgen de la Caridad neighborhood.
The agreement signed in the morning, on July 5, was approved by the Board of Local Government last May 6 and has an initial term of two years.
ACCEM is an NGO that aims to improve the living conditions of people who are vulnerable and especially the group of refugees, migrants and people at risk of social exclusion.
In addition to local ceded today, the city of Cartagena continuously collaborates with this organization through various channels, including the transfer are two other premises located in the Plaza Human Rights and the street Citadel.
