Four teams of students from Grade Fundamentals of Architecture the ETSAE yesterday received awards for their participation in the XXVI Iberian Contest constructive solutions Pladur that at the regional level have gained students UPCT Jesus Escribano Martinez and Julio Sanchez Santos, who traveled to Madrid to present its draft translucent flag along with the other representatives of the Spanish and Portuguese universities.
"This year, the competition notice invited to make a Modular Pavilion 500 m2, without specific location, to be able to be located in different social, cultural and climatic contexts.
The purpose was to search for aspects such as innovation, versatility, technology, light, feelings ... Therefore, 'Your Imagination has no limits' was the theme chosen for the competition, "explains Professor Maria Pura Moreno.
Following the discussion of a professional jury, the first local prize for the proposal with the slogan 'The Skin I Live In', characterized by its permeability and view from outside was granted.
The first local second prize was awarded to the proposal 'The introvert traveler', presented by the student Pedro Martínez López Graña.
The second runner-up prize went to 'Modainer 2', of Prats Concepción Ortuño and Domenico Lauriola students.
And the third, 'In Motion' Victor Perez Sanchez, Jose Sanchez and Alvaro Gil Sanchez Olmedo.
The diplomas were presented by the regional delegate of Pladur, Antonio Vidal.
