This morning I met the Working Committee Urgent Actions Bureau Night Covenant.
The meeting was chaired by Councillor Transparency and Good Governance, Juan Pedro Torralba.
It has analyzed the measures implemented, especially by the local police during the last two weekends, to avoid the practice of botelleo by many young people in the area of ​​Cabo de Palos.
The measures have been explained by the Councillor for Public Safety, Francisco Aznar, and the chief of the local police, Eusebio Serna.
As discussed above, the results were mixed, as in the first weekend performance of agents caused the scattering of young people but within the same area of ​​Cabo de Palos.
However, the operation was launched last weekend, managed to avoid the practice of botelleo in the town I ytrasladarlo the parking lot of a nightclub located at the entrances to the area, without any recorded incident with the neighbors.
This operation is the one that will be launched in the coming weeks given the good results obtained and supplemented with the lighting of the entrances to parking of the club.
The working committee in this regard has agreed to monitor the results in the coming weeks and reconvene if not necessary until after the summer.
As this, part of the Bureau of the Covenant Night, working committee is made up of councilors of the government and municipal groups, technicians from different departments and services, local police, college, students, youth branches of political parties, centers will be remembered education, students' parents, neighbors, Hostec and Chamber of Commerce, among others.
The so-called Pact Mesa Night is integrated in the Municipal Commission for Citizen Participation, to address the problems of coexistence nightlife of young people and especially the so-called botelleo.
In the meetings that have been held so far agreed to the creation of two commissions: one that tackles the problem from a preventive and educationally, with performances in the medium term;
and other urgent actions decided a few weeks ago to launch actions to eliminate botelleo area of ​​Cabo de Palos.
