An authentic staging of the hand of actors and actresses of the city has served as a framework to present what will be the first Festival of Historic Theatre City of Cartagena, an event of new creation to be held during the summer, with representations July, August and September.
The area councilor of Culture, Archaeological Heritage, Youth and Sport, Ricardo Mowing, appeared this morning to highlight the momentum that the City Council is given to this unique and innovative event and encouraging youth groups attend.
In collaboration with the Consistory, the organization of this initiative is paid by the Cartagenero Center dramatization of history.
The aim of the festival is to represent all productions about the history of our city and so do a review of their scenes and periods.
PROGRAMMING
Through the direction of Enrique Escudero, will the theatrical series The turnstile, which will be a trilogy that begins in the 30s and showing the lives of people through a musical coffee.
These representations can be enjoyed 12 and 15 euros on days 1, 2, 8, 9, 29 and 30 July;
and 20, 26 and 27 August.
Escudero himself has been commissioned to report on the rest of the program they have prepared.
Two actresses have played live one of the scenes that wrap those who come on 6, 7, 13 and 14 August to verSanta Maria La Vieja, and treat the fraudulent transfer of the bishopric to Murcia in the thirteenth century.
The price is also 12 euros in advance and 15 the same day.
A different proposal come with Bodas de Sangre, in honor of the 80th anniversary of the death of Federico Garcia Lorca, on a full moon night in which that light is the only shine.
There will be no lights or lighting cables or artificially, and the backdrop is a beach town.
You can enjoy 18 and 19 August at a cost of 18 or 20 euros.
On 2 and 3 September it will be the turn of a friendly tour of the biography of Miguel de Cervantes through old jealous ofThe Careful den, 12 and 15 euros.
Finally, Modernism will be protagonist also in the theater on 9 and 10 September with Children of Canton, an experiment that will present the history the two days before the spectators and will continue complying as web series until, at the end of the year, the outcome is represented.
In addition to the works themselves, the festival will include routes dramatized at sundown Wednesday 6 and July 27, 10 and 17 August, and September 7, which will cost 12 euros in advance or 15 on the same day and will as philosophy the approach of the actors to the public.
