The service is accessible 24 hours a day for every day of the year and allows both direct reading with internet from any fixed or mobile device such as reading via download using a system of rights management DRM (Digital Rights Management).
Users also have a free mobile application for reading through iOS and Android.
It is only necessary to have a reading device compatible with the ePub format publication and internet access, as well as being in possession of a license of any of the public libraries participating in the project.
The integration of 'eBiblio' with the 'eBook' network platform of Cartagena has been made by the Cartagenera company Odilo, which is in turn the company awarded the Platform for Digital Content Network of Public Libraries, Ministry of education, Culture and sports.
This initiative promoted by Culture and the City of Cartagena has involved an investment of 10,000 euros.
