TRABUCO OUTBOARD
The piece is exposed, the blunderbuss called overboard, is a muzzle-loading firearm, caliber, with a short, bell-shaped canyon.
It presents a chronology of the late seventeenth century and the mid-eighteenth century.
The piece still has recorded the maker's mark: Eudal Cams, Ripoll (Catalonia).
This weapon was not very precise by nature, so it was more useful in Collisions during naval battles, where the fighting was at close range.
The guns could be made of brass or steel, but was not flare to increase the dispersion of the pellets but to facilitate loading of the weapon.
The bell mouth is the defining characteristic of the blunderbuss, differentiating them from the carbines.
