The Polytechnic University of Cartagena with its rector at the helm, has today welcomed the first twenty students from ITE College Singapore arriving at the UPCT for training and sociocultural modules.
Young Asians have been accompanied by two teachers and cartagenero consultant Sergio Cervantes, who works in Singapore.
Students will take during the next two weeks intensive training modules (each mobile application development, management other sports organizations), as well as cultural, language and leisure, conducted in collaboration with Funcarele.
To accommodate these and other foreign students, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena has reopened the university residence Caballero street.
This year, the UPCT hopes to reach five hundred international students.
Besides Alejandro Diaz Morcillo, they have received the Singaporean students the mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez;
President of the Port Authority of Cartagena, Antonio Sevilla;
and the CEO of Community Colleges, Juan Monzó.
