The mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez (MC), trumpeted, last Saturday, the Cultural Week XXXV Vista Alegre, starting a loaded with various cultural activities in the locality week.
During his speech, the mayor, who was accompanied by councilors Portal and Office of Transparency and Finance, María José Soler (MC) and Isabel García (MC), respectively, reviewed the origins of the people, highlighting its already traditional cultural week and his involvement with music and the arts, as well as the preservation of traditions.
In the morning, both Lopez as the mayors of MC, Francisco Calderon, Isabel Garcia and Maria Jose Soler, attended the first edition of '24H Watching the Sea', a proposal entertainment organized by the Neighborhood Association of Santa Lucia and the Socio Cultural Association Santiago Apostle, in collaboration with the City of Cartagena.
There, during the weekend could enjoy different tents with folk traditions, musical performances, shows and exhibitions.
All proceeds from the different activities will go to the Spanish Association Against Cancer and the Association of the Blessed Virgin of the Helpless in Cartagena.
Already in the day on Sunday, the mayor and all the mayors of MC were present at the Mass and procession in honor of the Virgen del Carmen in Los Urrutias, where they wanted to give their support to the neighbors with their presence, accompanying them in a day so special.
The day was completed with a local coexistence, paella tasting, performance by a group rociero and craft market.
A few hours later, the Councillor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, attended corresponding to the phase of ascent to Third Division pitting SFC Minerva of Alum and CD Algar meeting.
