The Cartagena Folk festival returns to the port city twelve years later, after its last edition in 2004. unmarcado street and free for all citizens, the festival bring music, crafts and food in the world to the Port of Cartagena from 16 to 19 of June.
The lute, guitars, Eastern percussion, diatonic accordion, instruments trikitixa or take home made traditional music of the world to this event by artists of the Region of Murcia.
Cartagena Folk, organized by the Culture Department of the City of Cartagena, was presented this morning by the Councillor for Culture, David Martinez and music promoter Toni Pena, who has also had live performances of the band Don Pepo and Juan Jose Robles, part festival poster.
The percussion group D'Akokan, The Ben Gunn Mento Band, Juan Jose Robles, Manuel Luna and The Band Pepoacercarán their music festival for free on the Paseo del Puerto, next to the percursión and African dance Kunta Kinte by Aziz Diouf and world music DJ Boni.
