The Department of Social Services City of Cartagena, within its program of activities for the semester seniors, organized last Thursday, June 2, the talk entitled Fossils after picoesquina.
The classrooms of La Milagrosa welcomed the conference was given by the biologist and paleontologist, Alfredo Castilla Wandosell, where urban fossils were the protagonists.
According to the speaker, many cartageneros are aware of the archaeological heritage we have in our city, but many are completely unaware urban paleontological wealth we possess.
What we are trying is to inform the public this wealth.
After the talk, attendees made a route through the center of Cartagena spot to enjoy everything they had learned at the conference.
The biggest were very interested and amazed the rich paleontological heritage that has the city and they were unaware.
