What is the lie, what kinds of liars that exist, lie detection in different professional environments such as the judiciary, academia, the media, as well as useful to detect techniques are some of the topics to be discussed in the course summer at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) 'methods of police investigation: lie detection'.
The National Police has collaborated with the University in organizing and preparing the course, which will be held from 11 to 13 July in the Hall of the School of Agricultural Engineering of the UPCT.
During the presentation of the course, the Rector of the UPCT, Alejandro Diaz Morcillo, stressed the "necessary" relationship between the university and police in divulging issues.
In addition, it has been reported that the course meets social work, as the benefits derived from it will go to the Sisters of the Poor of Cartagena.
For its part, the commissioner of the National Police, Ignacio del Olmo, has reviewed the interest is showing the polytechnic university in diversifying its range of activities to areas related to security.

UPCT offer 32 courses this year, of which 12 are institutional and have the cooperation of institutions like Marines, the Air Force Academy and the municipalities of Cartagena and Mazarrón, among others.
In all the courses involve more than 1,000 places.
