Cartagena City Council held this morning the full regular draw of the members of the 255 polling stations to be installed in the city of Cartagena during the general elections on June 26.
The meeting was chaired by the mayor, Jose Lopez, and it has been designated a total of 2,295 citizens who exercise presidents, members and alternates.
He has been using a computer system, which has identified three numbers 1 through 999, which has been applied by the Processing Center Municipal Data to alphabetical lists of each of the districts of the tables to be installed in the municipality.
For each table they have appointed nine people: a president and his two deputies holder, plus two regular members and four alternates.
To appoint presidents has left 688;
for the first vowels, and 817 seconds for voice, the 174. The first alternate will be obtained on 5 discounting those numbers to prevent designated miesma are members of the family;
and alternate seconds, adding successively 5.
The ratio selected will be sent by the City Council shortly to the Electoral Board, which is responsible for order notification to interested parties, which have a period to argue.
According to the electoral law, the president and member of the polling stations is a right and a civic duty, which can only be excused for incompatibility or force majeure, duly accredited.
In return the chairpersons and members receive some individual diets.
The census for these general elections in the municipality of Cartagena is composed of 151,682 voters, 67 more than in the past in December.
Polling stations will be located in the same locations of the last elections, except the two tables of the College of La Manga, which will be located in the premises of the Consortium of La Manga, next to the Hotel Los Delfines.
