The music will resound throughout and around the city thanks to the new edition of the Music Festival to be held on Saturday June 18.
The Youth Space Youth Council organizes this event under the slogan, Iguales in music, fill Cartagena outdoor musical performances, all without any lucrative and free to the public interest, and interested can enroll.
The Music Festival celebrates its 35th anniversary this year.
This is the first musical event worldwide (The World Music Day) in more than 120 countries and over 700 cities participating.
Musicians are invited to act spontaneously on the street, the city that day will become a meeting place, communication and creativity of all music lovers.
The event organizers have chosen the theme Equal in Music as a reminder that the music itself is stronger than anything that might divide people.
Music is the channel that allows human beings to express their fears, joys and other feelings.
TWO SPACES
All styles of music, without distinction or hierarchy, will have a place at this event will be divided into two types of spaces: the Axis Free Music and Musical Rincones.
Axis Free Musical.
This free space will run from Carmen Street to Main Street, past the doors of Murcia.
And this year street Street Santa Florentina and Honda are incorporated.
Throughout this Libre Music Hub will be some identifying stickers on the floor in the shape of a treble clef.
These are the points where anyone can play acoustically or with a team of autonomous sound and limited power for a maximum of 30 minutes in the same musical point.
This free space will be open to musicians from 19:00 hours to 24:00 hours and does not require prior registration.
Musical Rincones.
Square CIM, Plaza del Rey, the source along with the Barrio del Roman Forum at Balcones Azules, the Palace Hall, the Icue and the Monument to Procesionista are some scenarios for musicians who want to play on that day in the event program.
It will require prior registration can be made from 28 May to 6 June.
Once you have completed this period the organization will inform participants of the place, time and duration of the performance.
Musicians who want to act in the Musical Rincones must have its own autonomous sound equipment.
