The mayor of Social Services, Carmen Martin, met Thursday, along with the coordinator of the Department, Damián Pérez, and the coordinator of the Unit of Prevention and Social Promotion, Lucia Hernanández, for a meeting with the chief prosecutor of Cartagena Carmen de la Fuente, during a round of contacts being carried out with the administrations and departments directly linked to the work of the prosecution.
In this first approach the issues and actions that are developed from the municipal social services and linkage with the judicial area addressed.
Both sides agreed on the importance of opening a path of collaboration between the two institutions, creating a space for coordination and joint work and a possible agenda issues to deal with.
Initially, the Department will transfer information from those issues of concern, and to end the month of juniose schedule a meeting between professionals of Social Services and prosecutors in order to study posiblesalternativas action.
Social Services inform, advise and mediate different problems, which in many cases require such coordination or resolution from the judiciary, always benefit all users of this municipal service.
