Summer in Cartagena will again be full of life and attractive thanks to the extensive programming that was presented this morning and occupy the city between the months of June and September through the activities of Cartagena Port of Cultures including guided tours, special tours, music, theater and gastronomy.
Deputy Mayor and President of Cartagena Port of Cultures, Ana Belén Castejon, said that this program is committed to offering quality, diverse, fun and exciting that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the history of the city through its monuments and its history.
Among the novelties for this season, Castejon has highlighted the activity Savoring the mysteries of Isis, which will bring together theater, music and cuisine in an evening show with Roman dinner where the story of Isis will be found in such a unique environment as is the Barrio del Forum Roman.
Also the mayor of Tourism, Obdulia Gómez, wanted to highlight some of the proposed routes, and has indicated that the duration of the exhibition of Tutankhamen in the Augusteum expands as it has so far received more than 5,000 visits and expect to continue to receive public at least until 30 September, date to which the sample is extended.
There will be special attention to children, said Gomez, as it claims that family tourism is one of the focuses of this program.
Younger are presented adorned adventure, research or finding objects of power to promote interest activities.
PROGRAMMING
Agustina Martinez, manager of Cartagena Port of Cultures, said that there will be tours and activities every day of the week, as the summer season in more visitors year-round are received, and the nightlife will increase.
He recalled that last year's figures reached 120,000 visitors between June and September to museums, and full quotas were also recorded in most proposed actions.
