A new edition of March Woman reaches the streets of Cartagena.
Tomorrow Thursday, May 26, a tour solidarioapoyará as every year to a social cause, this time researching the rare Niemann Pick.
Organized by the Department of Equality of the City of Cartagena, this activity offers lats citizens for just a euro that will be used to give visibility to the Niemann Pick Foundation, which works nationally for 15 years to try to alleviate the effects of this rare disease to those who suffer and to encourage such research.
The tour, which will be attended by Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejon, and the Councillor for Equality, David Martinez, will start from Plaza de Spain at 10:00 am and will tour the Alameda de San Anton, Sebastian Street and Ferigán Tentegorra the Road to finish in the Park Rafael de la Cerda.
In the park you will enjoy a coexistence with diverse activities that will include a raffle and, once completed, will buses from 18.00 to take participants to the starting point.
For those interested, it is still open for registration in the Department of Equality, which is located on the second floor of Building La Milagrosa, or the same day of the march at the event in the Plaza of Spain.
Niemann Pick disease is an accumulation of cholesterol in the brain that degenerates the person and can cause seizures, ataxias or dysfunctions in speech.
The Foundation was created in 2001 and brings together some 40 families throughout Spain.
