DADA STREET
Norwegian artists Franzisca Siegrist, Ida Grimsgaard, Inger-Reidun Olsen and Elisabeth Lund Færøy have Dadá Street, a street happening between artists and audience, framed in a tour that will travel as other cities and areas of Spain.
The artists visit the residence Open Action recently created to develop research projects and seeks a relationship with art spaces and culture of our region to carry out the final phase of its work.
This time, taking advantage editing Mucho Mas Mayo Festival, presented an innovative, unique project in context where the artists related to experience the concepts that Dadaism imposed as a seed of actions and conceptual basis of the performances that are known today.
The work on the streets is a rewarding challenge, even more so considering the different character because of the origin of the artists and their contrast to a city boiling, a Mediterranean city.
Experimentation in public expressive poses a challenge that generates excitement and surprise after a creative and experimental process.
It will be on Wednesday, May 25, at 19:30 hours at the Gates of Murcia.
PRESENTATION OF THE MIDDLE AGES
At eight p.m. presented in the Decumano (Plaza de los Tres Reyes) Leonardo Cano's novel, The Middle Ages (Editorial Candaya), by vel poet and professor Juan de Dios García.
In the Middle Ages three crossed in time stories, crisscrossed by anxiety, humor and tragedy of thwarted aspirations succeed.
Furious and lyrical at the same time, the original first novel by Leonardo Cano explores the depth of desire at a brisk pace that concatenates the wild school environment of Mario Vargas Llosa of The Time of the Hero, the lightness of the best romantic comedy through Network and bureaucratic passivity of a judicial system in which we recognize the harshness of the characters in Houellebecq or wickedness of Bret Easton Ellis.
In its pages, and by three amazing views that intertwine so many stories of the past and present, it shows the emotional life adventure, professional and young people who, in contact with maturity, are broken their projects and dreams, and through them, those of a generation and a time when we feel very close.
Leonardo Cano (Murcia, 1977) graduated in Law and Master in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature European.
Creajoven Prize Autonomous Region of Murcia, has been a lawyer, writer, creative advertising, food critic and contributor to various print and digital media.
Currently, he is an official of the Ministry of Justice and is finishing his doctorate in Contemporary Spanish Literature.
The average age is his first novel.
