A long day of work was a full moon last Saturday, May 21, at which he had to enlighten the tens of thousands of people who enjoyed another year of traditional Night of Museums, held in numerous cities world to mark the international day of museum centers around the world.
Cartagena is one of those cities which opened throughout the day to culture through concerts in the squares, documentaries, theater, dance, tours of exhibitions, activities specially dedicated to smaller, milongas and endless events from all branches of art.
In addition, the link uniting citizens and visitors was the opening of the museums free from 20.00 pm to 2.00 am: special hours for a magical evening.
Also from the morning you could begin to explore the city through various routes dramatized and guided tours prepared for the occasion and allowed the curious to discover mysteries and stories of our city, walking the deepest roots of Golf Cartagena, rise to the lighthouse of Cabo de Palos or imbibe modernist designs that invade the historical district.
Among the audience who joined this great night, there was representation of the municipal government through the mayor, Jose Lopez, and other councilors and the mayor of Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon;
Youth Councilman, Ricardo Segado;
the Councillor for Finance, Isabel García;
Transparency and the mayor, José María Soler.
