The newly created Association of Sports Law arrives to Cartagena in order to fill a gap in terms of training and educational services in different areas that include the Sports Law.
To publicize the association, Wednesday 18 May was the presentation at a conference in the Graduate Hall of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), attended by the Councillor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, and the president of the Association of Sports law of Cartagena, Carlos José Martínez, with speakers Miguel Garcia Caba, legal adviser to the Football League, and Julian Jalil, president of the American Association of Private law.
The association, created by several jurists of Cartagena, aims to make courses, lectures and presentations to specialize legal professionals in this area.
In this first conference, through two speakers various topics were discussed in terms of labor, administrative, international law and private contracts in this sport.
Miguel Garcia Caba became a general overview of the current challenges and current issues at the level of sports law and sports investment funds, training contracts, and so on.
With the Argentine Julian Jalil, civil deresponsabilidad issues addressed in the sport.
The ADDCT is also open to sports clubs who want to know more about the law in this area and are available to all interested parties via email addcartagena@gmail.com
