The People's University of Cartagena has enabled two groups of students divided into over 25 ymayores than 45 years have taken the course Preparation for Access to University (PAU).
In the afternoon yesterday, May 18, the closing of this course in a ceremony that was presided over by the Councillor for Education, David Martinez, who took the opportunity to acknowledge the great effort made by these students was held at the Palace Hall, as many of them combine work, study and family or had many years without studying.
This course has been developed in morning and afternoon, from the beginning of October 2015 until the end of 2016, ie, which involved seven months of intensive work and sacrifice.
Of the students, 25 of the group of people over 25 have passed the PAU, the total of 33 people have completed the course, while among those over 45 years ended in June the course and so far approved two.
The goal of the students in most cases has been to fulfill a dream and improve their employment situation, because in this way can access college, attend an opposition group C1 or labor exchanges and possess the equivalent to Bachelor Top.
