The Scientific Culture Unit of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) participated Thursday in the European Fantastic Film Festival of Murcia through the conference 'UPCT-Bloopbusters: science or fiction'

It held at 19:30 pm in Room B of the Regional Film Archive.

Teachers UPCT Jose Victor Rodriguez, Enrique Castro, Juan Francisco Sanchez and Jose Luis Serrano make the UPCT-Bloopbusters, whose aim is to check the scientific reliability of the technological aspects shown in futuristic movies.

UPCT- Bloopbusters is a project of the Unit for Scientific and Technological Culture University, which has the support of Production Center Digital Content Cartagena Polytechnic.

Through this initiative, a group of teachers about non-specialists the fundamentals of different branches of engineering and architecture, approximating from the contents of movies of all time.

Bloopers, reality, fiction, glorious past and near future technology showing the film intermingle in this entertaining proposal and with scientific rigor.
