The councilors of Social Services and Social Mediation, Carmen Martin, and Culture and Archaeological Heritage, Sports and Youth, Ricardo Segado, have shared part of the class of Tai Chi for seniors that has given Tuesday the Nicholas Charity monitora in the Park Pink.
Around a hundred people over centers 1 and 3 of IMAS and La Union, only IMAS centers in the Region of Murcia where this method is taught, have gathered in the park, in a session that it has been described as very pleasant by the participants.
Much of the session was attended by the mayors Carmen Martín and Ricardo Segado, who have highlighted losbeneficios of this type of outdoor activities, greeting the organizers and some participants.
Tai Chi is a martial art practiced by several million people around the world and is becoming a very popular activity, and in city parks can be observed, especially in the morning, hundreds of people exercising their movements slow and rhythmic.
Increasingly it is seen as more of a physical and spiritual practice that seeks to improve the quality of life of students.
