The City of Cartagena published on Friday May 14 in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia laconvocatoria for grants to neighborhood associations and party committees officially established, aimed at the annual organization and conduct of the festivities and popular celebrations most representative and accepted in different neighborhoods and towns of the provincial councils of the municipality, an annual subsidy granted only by neighborhood or population nucleus.
The funding of these grants amounted this year to 85,000 euros, as above, and, after publication of the notice in the BORM, stakeholders have an application deadline of 30 calendar days, ie until June 13 to present instance, annexes and documentation required by the rules of the call, in the General Register of Administrative Building in San Miguel street, SKIP or by other means set out in the law.
The projects submitted will be considered by an Evaluation Commission Application constituted for that purpose, which will be chaired by Councilman Celebration, Juan Pedro Torralba.
As usual, there are a number of aspects to be taken into account when assessing applications, such as elinterés project in the field of Festivities, tradition and cultural relevance, correct forecast of planned activities, impact and scope in terms of beneficiaries of the activities and other aspects of interest appreciated by the evaluation Commission.
Finally, will the Local Government who approved the proposal of the Commission.
The maximum period of resolution and notification will be 6 months from the publication of the call.
Payment of the grant will be made prior justification by the beneficiary of the activities, justification must be made before the municipal intervention.
