The V Agrifood Research Workshop organized by the Master and Doctorate TAIDA of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) has concluded this afternoon with the awards to the best exhibitions and work in this sector.
Interestingly, the five prizes awarded have been intended for researchers.
The G's Spain prize, worth 400 euros, went to Elena Collado, for his work on vitamin C and the microbiological quality of pea seeds.
On the other hand, a double tie in the Poster section has made the organizing committee to provide two diplomas instead of one, as planned.
Noelia work Castillejo on Innovations in the development of green smoothies and Marina Martos-Fuentes, on genotyping, phenotyping and transcriptomic analysis of accessions in beans, peas and beans they have taken the prize for the best poster.
As a novelty, this year we have delivered two prizes of 200 euros each for the finalists investigations, one by IDAI Nature and other, Cosemar Ozone.
The Nature of IDAI has fallen in Inmaculada Moreno, for his work on the baseline susceptibility of Mediterranean populations of insect scientifically named, Trialeurodes vaporariorum.
While the award Cosemar Nature has taken it Maria Victoria Ruiz, with other work on pests, Circadian emission of volatile in Antirrhinum majus.
In this edition of the workshop they participated 60 agronomists doctoral students.
