On 9, 10 and 12 May, facilities SPACE (School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena), host a course on police intervention and deployment in crowd control and small groups.
Included within the Municipal Training Plan, this training aims to deepen police intervention techniques and the consistent and proportionate use of coercive means.
The course in question is carried out continuously several years in a row following the demand from the local police in Cartagena and the importance of the subject to be treated, because it enables agents to have the sufficient skills and techniques in deployment and police tactics to control crowds, demonstrations and large concentrations of people occur under the assigned functions on protection Authorities Local Authorities, supervision or custody of their buildings and facilities, surveillance of public spaces and collaboration with the rest of the Security Forces in protecting demonstrations and maintaining order in large concentrations when required to do so.

By importing the same, the course is mandatory for managers and selected personnel from the local police, has 20 participants and imparts specialized Civil Guard and local police in Cartagena staff.
