Child sponsorship values ​​education and youth are the main goals of the Concert of Solidarity, a classic Mediterranean IES Cartagena which this year celebrates its twentieth edition under the títuloSolidarios always.
17 performances will take the music and solidarity this afternoon, Friday, May 6, at the auditorium of the UPCT, where through his songs make a complaint to situations of injustice in our society as bullying, gender violence, war, disability, the elderly or the environment.
The purpose of this concert is to raise funds to keep the 14 children who currently have through the NGO Action Aid and to increase the number of sponsored children, for what teaching and non-teaching staff, students and alumni will join this concert for a good cause.
The XX Concert of Solidarity, led by Professor Antonio Parra, will be attended by the Councillor for Culture and Education, David Martinez, who at the presentation ceremony on Monday wanted to highlight the work of this concert noting the importance of the young people who are in high school are aware of the needs that exist in other places and learn to be supportive of this as pretty as is the music way.
The concert will start at 18:00 and the ticket price is 2 euros, providing for all interested in collaborating unable to attend a Row 0. Tickets can be purchased at the same concert.
Furthermore, in the rest of the concert students participating university in the Erasmus + program will prepare a joint lunch for all attendees, and the proceeds from it will go to a local NGO, which in previous years has been aimed at the Huertecica or the Good Samaritan among others, making the project also reversed in the city.
