Students of Social Education at the University of Murcia were on Wednesday in Cartagena to visit the building of La Milagrosa, visit held annually as part of the programming university degree in Social Education, in order that the students know one buildings more importance in protecting children between the eighteenth and twentieth centuries.
Upon arrival they were received by the Councillor for Social Services, Carmen Martin, and the coordinator of Social Services, Damián Pérez, who accompanied them on part of the route.
Subsequently, a social educator who works in this initiative, led them through the offices currently occupied by the Department of Social Services and the Department of Equality, and gave a talk on the socio stages that passed small interned in the House of Mercy .
The students were accompanied by Pedro Luis Moreno, professor of social pedagogy of the UMU.
