Through the Erasmus + Involve me and I learn, program Secondary School Mediterranean hosts for a few days to school children from Iceland, Finland, Slovenia, Italy and Greece, which besides visiting the city are immersed completely in our habits by host families with staying.
It has been the Councillor for Culture and Education, David Martinez, who has given an official welcome to all 44 students and 13 teachers who have arrived this morning at the Palace Hall as part of his tour of Cartagena.
The mayor invited to enjoy the heritage and historical value of the town, as well as to imbibe customs, cuisine and leisure activities offered by this three millennium old city.
Finally, young people have received a gift of Cartagena Port of Cultures and then have made the tour of the premises of the Consistory of the hand of the City tour guide.
The aim of the project that is working is to increase student motivation through a new methodology that implies the involvement of young people in their own learning process.
The project has been developed entirely in English and has been to know the different education systems of the participating countries.
In addition, career guidance has worked with a view to incorporating into employment, as well as laresolución conflict between equals.
The six schools in different countries have worked together towards the same horizon and have had aEspaña as country coordinator of this project which ends this year.
