French high school students from Saint Joseph du Moncel, located 50km north of Paris in the village Pont-Sainte-Maxence, this morning visited the Palace Hall to see the facilities of this landmark building.
After 12 days of enjoying Cartagena, these 34 students have been living with the families of students corresponding Ben Arabi, who were the first to enjoy the Gallic country in this exchange.
Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejon, received them with words of welcome, inviting them to make the most of the visit, enjoy the discovery of the three thousand year old history of the city and act as ambassadors speaking well of the city to return to his country.
These students have known these days the main monuments of the city while have delved into the Spanish language, visiting places such as the Roman Forum and the Roman Theatre.
The Councillor for Education, David Martinez, has accompanied the Deputy Mayor at this reception, noting the great opportunity that is coming to Cartagena students from other countries, because as well speak when they return to the city and other tourists will come.
