The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Francisco Barnabas, offered last night at the Basilica of Charity the opening speech on the occasion of the 475th anniversary of the canonization of San Ginés de la Jara, patron of Cartagena.

In his speech, the Minister highlighted the figure of San Gines and also explained the history of the monastery and pilgrimage.

After the opening speech the new banner of the Brotherhood of San Gines Romeros was blessed.
