The Department of Social Services, in collaboration with the Association of Residents of the Virgen de la Caridad, has prepared for the first week of May a wide program with activities and events for all ages that fall within its XXI Cultural Week.
On Monday 2 May the local office will host a film forum on disability and a workshop of art, technology and disability, and a circuit barriers in Plaza Cronista Casal for people with disabilities.
Young audiences can enjoy the Tuesday 3 Make your mark, reading a story with discussion and development of a giant tree with footprints, by Caritas San Leandro.
Interculturalism will be starring Wednesday 4 with a display of music and costumes of Morocco, Nigeria, Ghana and Spain, at 19.00 in the local office.
Meanwhile, on Thursday 5 day Coexistence, prevention and conflict resolution, aimed at young people 10 to 18 years from 18.30, also in the social will be held.
Since the weekend, on Friday 6th it is scheduled a show-recital at the School of Arabic, delivery of sports equipment for the Abraham Project and a children's day with games, workshops and face painting will begin as 18:45 pm in the Plaza Cronista Casal .
Saturday 7 from 19.00, a day of local coexistence and holding the Cross of Mayo.Para end, the closure of the Cultural Week will be Sunday May 8 on a date twinning between different groups and associations are expected from 12.00 at the local office.
