Luis Miguel Perez Adam, historian and official Cronista of our city, was the person responsible for providing last Thursday a new lecture course A Walk Through the History of Cartagena, organized by the Department of Social Services City of Cartagena.
On this occasion, the elders who attended the conference were able to discover places, events and characters in the history of Cartagena, counting with hundreds of photographs of the Municipal Archives.
Perez Adam did a tour that spanned the nineteenth century and early twentieth century, highlighting images of the Gates of Madrid, the Monastery of San Ginés de la Jara, the Teatro Principal, Convent of the Servants of the Civil War, Cantonal War, the departure of King Alfonso XIII and characters who visited Cartagena, as Andersen, Benito Perez Galdos, Miguel Hernandez, Winston Churchill, etc.
