The mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, and Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejon, attended Thursday at the Faculty of Business of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), the XVII Employment Forum that involves more than one thirty companies, including Nationale-Nederlanden, El Pozo, MTorres, Leroy Merlin, Garrigues, Repsol, Deloitte, Lidl or La Manga Club, which university, about 250 registered, may submit their resumes, in addition to attending lectures and presentations to know their business.

For its part, the rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, emphasized the advances that are taking place with companies through internship agreements for university students, since it is walking, UPCT has signed more than 2,600 agreements with companies for the experiments, an increase in recent years of some 100 agreements with new companies annually.
As for data on employability in the region, the head of the SEF, noted that the activity rate among university is 85 percent, compared to 55 percent of the general population.
