Last week, José Sánchez Conesa, doctor in anthropology, writer, historian and one of the official chroniclers of Cartagena gave an interesting talk about the Legends of the Inquisition in the Campo de Cartagena, all within the course of Popular Traditions imparted every Friday in the classroom building La Milagrosa and corresponding to the Program of Activities for the Elderly of the Department of Social Services.
According to Sanchez Conesa said, these stories were born having interviewed elderly people throughout the region, since they are repositories of great traditions and know many oral stories, legends, missing festivities and many other things.
