This morning the mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, has received the president of the Spanish Naval League, Juan Diaz Cano, with whom he held a meeting to know the program will be the III National Maritime Congress.
This is a conference that hit the city on 10 and 11 May, which will be represented 4 marinas: merchant shipping, fishing, sports and military.
According to the president of the Spanish Naval League, this is an opportunity to make visible the sector's problems as they tratatarán problems of the Spanish merchant fleet or fishing and shipyard, which also will be attended by the Head of State Staff of the Navy and other industry players.
The conference will be held at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and will be closed to the public, although as explained by the possibility that students of this university can attend free of charge, in addition to the School of Naval to give maximum visibility.
Juan Diaz said he was delighted with the support they are giving by local government, adding that the mayor will participate in the opening ceremony.
