The Hall of the Open University of Cartagena will host next Friday, April 22, a continuous reading of the work par excellence of Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quixote.
On this occasion will be attended by political and cultural authorities of the local and regional level, tutors and students of the Open University and the general public who is interested in the act.
11:00 hours the act, with the cooperation of the City of Cartagena will start, and attended by the mayor, Jose Lopez, Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejon, Councillor of the Culture, Ricardo Segado, Councilwoman Tourism, Obdulia Gómez, and the Councillor for Education, David Martinez, and other authorities as the president of the Regional Assembly, Rosa Peñalver, and the director General of Heritage and Archaeology of Cartagena, Carmen Berrocal.
This continuous reading will take place from 11:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:00 hours and will be broadcast live via the website of the UNED
To put an end to the day at 19:00 hours there will be a performance of a play by the Theatre Workshop entitled Entremés UNED first, followed by a choral music performance period ending cervantina the acts.
